ARTIST PROFILE
Since settling in Jeju, Lee Walchong has developed a distinctive painterly world through his own visual language, portraying nature, people, and scenes of everyday life. Within his works, people and animals, the sea and plants, memories and emotions coexist harmoniously as a single landscape, through which the artist conveys the vitality of life and an ideal vision of everyday existence.

In collaboration with the Walart Museum, Print Bakery launches Lee Walchong’s premium limited editions. This exhibition presents a new opportunity for a wider audience to experience the artist’s unique body of work more closely and accessibly.

The vivid colors, rhythmic compositions, and poetic sensibility rooted in Jeju are expanded in a new way through this exhibition. We hope this exhibition offers visitors a closer encounter with the “paradise of life” that Lee Walchong has cultivated throughout his artistic journey.
